Second Banking School for Journalists

Increasing of the knowledge of the journalists in the field of financial reporting of the banks and awarding of the skills in the reading of the financial balances was the goal of this year’s Banking School for Journalists organized by ProCredit Bank. In the first part of the Banking School, the journalists had possibilities to hear the lecture of Marija Efremova, councilor of the Governor of the National Bank of Macedonia, on topics “Importance of Financial Reports for NBRM”. The lecture of Valentina Trajceva Nikoska, member of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank, on topic “Efficient Reading of Financial Reports” was in direction of paying special attention to some important parameters from the notes of the financial reports. In the second part of the day the journalist had the possibility to work in group while analyzing the banks’ financial statements.

Since the Banking School for Journalist, which ProCredit Bank organized in July 2009, was successful and got many positive comments by the journalists, the bank organized Banking school for Journalists for the second time in a row on July 2 this year.  22 journalist from the national media, participated on the Banking School.
